The room was part carpet and part hardwood that had been installed about 10 years ago. Hardwood Café replaced the carpeted area with hardwood and then resanded and refinished the old wood. You can't tell where the old wood stops and the new wood starts. They also replaced carpeting on the stairs and a window seat with hardwood. They also installed pre-finished wood in two other rooms the previous November. The project lasted five days with minimum disruption. They were prompt in the mornings, showing up before I had to leave for work and finishing for the day before I returned home from work. Overall a very smooth week and a great finished product!
